You should not use Brasso on silver because it is too abrasive for the softer metal and is formulated for different types of tarnish. Using it on silver can cause fine scratches, damage the surface, and potentially leave a dull film, which makes the silver more prone to tarnishing in the future.
Can you put Brasso on silver?
